The shopping is always a wonderful adventure. The 1 star is for the grossly disgusting no name hot foods they sell at their concession stand. No name hot dogs, I have no idea what the meat is for their burgers. The Coffee always tastes like cold water even tho it has the color of coffee. I have no idea how they are getting away with this. Tho definitely 5 stars to the awesome fun shopping at the swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but eat elsewhere before you go or after !!!!!!!!!!!!
GREAT place to go with your friends, kids to watch a movie during the cooler months of the year. They play 2-3 movies for the week, with 1-2 being the new ones of the week. Not many drive ins left..very fortunate to be able to take my kids for the experience!
The Swap Shop is open Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday.
There is a snack bar and various food trucks and fruit stands doing juice and cut fruit cups.
Lots of friendly people.
We had high hopes in watching a movie tonight but due to their negligence in making sure the screen was working properly from the night before we weren't able to watch a movie that we paid for. They refused to give us a refund and instead gave us a car pass to use for our next visit. However we stated we wanted our cash back and they refused. Poor customer service being that this was on their behalf and not ours. I can understand if I didn't want to watch the movie anymore and then tried to get a refund. But no in this case it was their fault we couldn't watch the movie. Just disgraceful!
You can find interesting and rare things; however it's better to get more out of things (get more money for your items or cheaper priced items for your money) to shop through Buying/Selling apps and websites. Some apps, websites, and search engine filters (i.e. on Google) include a Local Only/Nearby Only filter/option as to cut out any shipping charges, or shipping time involved, or as to keep all profits for one's self.
